Concept Art
As part of her graduate studies at University of Central Florida, Mary has had opportunities to create concept art for a variety of her courses. Here you’ll find some samples of her art, all based in designing immersive entertainment for theme parks. Programs include Revit, Procreate, and SketchUp.
In May 2025, Mary traveled to Miami to compete in Royal Caribbean International’s Ultimate Thrills competition. This national challenge invited students to develop a comprehensive pitch deck reimagining a themed environment for a cruise ship pool deck. Mary’s team earned a Top 5 placement out of more than 60 submissions, a remarkable achievement in a highly competitive field.
While the full concept remains protected under an NDA, this recognition reflects the creativity and innovation behind the project.
Deep Ocean Encounters
This immersive walk through art instillation brings you face to face with the ocean’s deepest secrets with the art of puppetry. This project was created by Mary for her Immersive Experience Studio class, led by Senior Creative Director Pete Carsillo, and was awarded “Best Overall” for the semester.
As part of Mary’s Revit 3D modeling class, she created a three-scene dark ride that transforms the rider into a decorated sugar cookie!
Scene 1: Ingredients are added to your mixing bowl
Scene 2: You’re rolled out and stamped into a cookie shape, and into the oven you go!
Scene 3: You’re decorated with frosting, icing and sprinkles!
Princess
Pall Mall
Similar to a miniature golf course, this croquet experience uses a Victorian design inspired by Bridgerton to bring an afternoon of high tea, courtship, and fashion to the players.
Professor Nitro’s Ice Cream Lab
For her Small Project Studio class, Mary created a mobile liquid nitrogen ice cream cart, where sweet treats and theatrical fun make the perfect recipe! Here you’ll see three iterations: a laboratory, a classroom, and an igloo!
